Boy George

Dear Reader,

I am sure that a lot of you are aware of Boy George’s drug scandals and his other problems with the law. Deeds such as drug possession (Heroin and cocaine) and filing a false police report are not exactly a good example for the youth of our day (or society in general) but on the other hand he has done some good deeds. I would like to bring your attention to the fact that he has returned some stolen property to its rightful owners.

Some years ago the Turks invaded Cyprus, I do not want to get embroiled in an argument of the rights and wrongs of the Turkish occupation of part of the island but at some time someone stole a icon (painting on wood) from a church. This was exported to the UK, and Boy George bought it not knowing where it had come from. He kept it at his home, when he was informed that he had a stolen painting he then made arrangements to return it to its rightful owners (Good lad !).
