In Japan steps are being taken to clean the water at the reactor site.
The plan is to use zeolite, it is important to bear in mind that zeolite is not a cure all. Even while zeolite can be used to reduce the amount of cesium in humans and farmyard animals it is important to understand that it is not an instant fix. I see a report that zeolite is being marketed to the general public in Japan, I hold the view that zeolite and prussian blue should only be used under the supervision of a medical doctor or in the case of animals a vet.
As prussian blue is less able to disturb the calcium chemistry inside a person’s body, I think that prussian blue is better.
Please note that the following site is one which expresses the view that the Japanese authorities are being unreasonable in the way they have treated the zeolite salesmen.
