Recently I posted some data which included the observation of a monumental level of a short lived iodine isotope (Iodine-134). The good news is that the basement of the reactor building is much less contaminated than the early report suggested. I will try to do a new bar chart as soon as possible.
It is interesting to note that this observation by TEPCO was found to be wrong, the Japanese nuclear safety body (NISA) have “directed TEPCO orally to prevent the recurrence of such a mistake”
